Griot and professor of literature and folklore at Eastern Connecticut University, Dr. Raouf Mama has assembled a CD including several stories, of course, and his reflections on storytelling and education, and his plenary address to the 2003 TESOL Conference in Baltimore. The speech was given a cheering standing ovation by the over 1500 teachers in attendance, and the excitement is alive on the CD. The stories and music are magical, and his insights into the role of the imagination are of great value to teachers of language and literature and all those interested in storytelling. This CD is a gift to us all. Also by Raouf Mama Pearls of Wisdom
