PAYMENT
Checks and money orders should be made out to: "Pro Lingua Associates," or we welcome Visa, MasterCard, or American Express; $15 minimum. All orders must be pre-paid unless accompanied by an institutional purchase order. Our terms on billed orders: net 30 days.

Pay in U.S. dollars only, using Visa, MasterCard, or American Express, or a check drawn on a U.S. bank, or a U.S. postal money order. Do not send checks drawn on foreign banks.

Fastest foreign service - for air or surface shipping: Use Visa, MasterCard, or American Express

For surface shipping: Prepay 50% of list price book total ($10 min.)
Regular foreign service: Ask for a proforma invoice; specify air or surface shipping. Books will be sent upon payment.

SHIPPING (DOMESTIC)

Free shipping within the U.S. for all orders over $100.00 that are pre-paid by check or money order. (We'll ship the least expensive way, at our discretion.)

Postage & handling will be added to all invoiced and credit card orders using this schedule:

U.S. Domestic Postage and Handling
Orders under $35.00: $3.50
Orders from $35.00-$99.99: 10% of list-price book total
Orders over $100: a declining percentage

We generally ship within 72 hours of receiving orders. Small orders are shipped via Book Post (USPS Media Mail) or Library Rate.

RUSH ORDERS
If you need special service (air mail, UPS, or other couriers), the shipping and handling charge maybe somewhat higher than in the schedule above.

BARGAIN BASEMENT
Sometimes books are returned to us slightly damaged in shipping or slightly shopworn. If you want to buy them at a 10% discount, please mention this when you place your order.

PREVIEWING
Pro Lingua will be pleased to send single copies for examination and evaluation for 60 days on a pre-paid basis. If you wish to return the materials, pack them carefully and mail them with a copy of your receipt, postmarked within 60 days of the sale date; you pay the return postage. When we get the books in saleable condition, we will refund your money immediately. Please mark your order "For Examination."

Teachers wishing to evaluate a text for possible course adoption may order a single copy on behalf of their institution to be sent on approval with an invoice (list plus shipping, net 60 days or return of the book in saleable condition with all postage paid). An authorized signature and institutional billing address are required. Please mark your order "On Approval."

To return a book you have for examination or on approval, we recommend that you pack it carefully and return it prepaid by UPS or certified mail to provide proof of return delivery.
