How I use your books(10-21-00)
"Last spring I had my most successful lesson in a long time teaching ELS students Aesop's Fables with some of Ray Clark's materials and suggestions. It was exciting to watch the students concentrating completely on conveying the meaning of the stories to each other through words and pantomime, laughing at misunderstandings, and gleeful at successes. I used Operations in English with the same group and with similar success.

I use Conversation Strategies regularly in conversation classes at various schools. It's so good for producing spontaneous conversation. There's just enough structure with ample opportunities for originality.

The Zodiac is another book I use often to personalize instruction and increase vocabulary. ESL Miscellany is an old standby that I keep nearby.

I'm always interested in seeing what new things Pro Lingua is producing. I like your philosophy of learning through play. Good luck."
