I finally found it - a great, practical book of activities for tutoring the beginning-level student. Let me begin by saying that The English Teacher's Assistant received no commission or monetary benefit from recommending this book. I have to say this because my review is so enthusiastic that you might think we do. The Interactive Tutorial follows our philosophy here at The English Teacher's Assistant of providing practical, ready-to use activities that make learning fun for students and preparation easy for teachers. The activities and games are creative and useful, and the artwork is fun.

It's not just for tutors or teachers of adults either. These activities and games are easily adaptable for use with all ages of students and with groups or individual students. The activities will supplement curricula or they can be used as stand-alone activities for conversation groups or English clubs. Any (and I mean any) teacher of beginning-level students will LOVE this book. You won't believer the variety of games and activities that are ready-to-use in this book. There are board games, information gaps, storytelling activities, card games, dice games, interviews, and more?? And, in addition, there are templates at the back for teachers to make their own board games, dice and card games. Two different board game templates are included.

This is honestly the best bargain in a book we've ever seen. I highly recommend it.
